I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a skeptic. Any sale that’s too great, I’m checking for holes and expiration dates! So when I ran across a post (here) about free Redbox movies I was a little suspicious. I’m not a total pessimist, it’s just that I hate to be the lady that’s holding up the line so long that it looks like I’m applying for a home loan at the kiosk.
You know that lady, we’ve all seen her!
Anyways, this weekend I gave it a try and it worked! Well actually, the first code I tried (REDBOX) did not work. But I jotted down a short list of codes before I left the house so I moved on to the second code (DVDONME). And BINGO!
Don’t you love free stuff? I’ve never won anything, so I have to take my small victories wherever I can get them! So we actually used the same code again tonight.
So head on over to Pretty Providence to check it out. Thanks ladies of PP!
I’ll continue to update this post as I try more codes. And note that the promo codes are only good for one night’s rental ($1.20). So if you keep the movie for more than one night, or choose a blu ray you’ll have to pay the difference.
***promo code REDBOX did not work for me, but DVDONME has worked twice.***

Thank you for the codes! I rent movies from Redbox a lot, and it’s so awesome getting a free one every now and then. I use the codes to rent movies for my kids since they don’t really care to have the latest movies just as long as they get a cartoon they like. I use Blockbuster @Home because they have newer movies a month sooner than Redbox. I prefer to know the movie instead of having someone ruin the ending for me. As soon as I get off from work at Dish tomorrow, I’ll be sure to stop by a Redbox and use a code or two!
No Prob! Hope they work for you. And I usually use the codes for our kids too.
